St. Patty's Day Fun

Getting Ready for St. Patty's Day!

We already made an awesome Leprechaun craft named Inifinite P which you can see HERE.  This week at our friends' house she had the girls make an adorable tissue paper rainbow craft and painted their toes sparkly green.

If you haven't seen this common tissue paper rainbow craft before, you simple make a rainbow template or print one. Then cut tissue paper into small squares.  The girls centered the tissue paper on the end of a pencil, wrapping the excess down, dipped in glue and stick on the rainbow.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Are you doing anything fun for St. Patrick's Day?

Infinite P the Leprechaun

St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Craft

and his name is "Infinite P!"

My friend saw some cute Leprechaun crafts online, but I have no idea where she saw this so no link, sorry!  But I love how my daughter glued his hat on kind of tilted to the side and gave him creepy teeth! cracks me up....and then she randomly named him Infinite P!  I never get tired of the things she comes up with! My friend and I were laughing because of the way his hat was off to the side she said "He looks like a pimp" when the girls weren't around and then when she came back and named him Infinite P, we just thought it was too funny.

She also made up a character named Racoona, who has a braid on top of her ponytail and a sponge on top of her head... and we have started jotting down her adventures.

Valentine's 2.0 Felt Heart Cookie Set

Valentine's Day Post 2.0

Felt Heart Cookie Set
and
Valentine's Day  Fun

My friend found this super cute felt cookie tutorial on pinterest (I think) and we decided to do it last night, just in time for Valentine's Day for our girls.

J said it was a wonderful gift!

My brother is arriving tonight for a visit before he goes off to start training for the AF Para Rescue program and so we cut out lots of hearts and the kids spend forever decorated them all for him and then J carefully, thoughfully placed them all around his room he'll be staying in the surprise him...

We also had an impromptu playdate with our friends and they made necklaces together gluing a heart doiley on a paper heart, then adding a sticker, ribbon and we took their picture and printed and cut out and glued to the back...and they decorated and ate Valentine's cupcakes

And here are the crossword puzzle valentine's we made and passed out at the retirement home with our MOPS group

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
