About Me

I'm a stay at home mom of 3 and  I love being able to be with my kiddos and watch them learn and grow and enjoy all the little things.   I started this blog initially as just a log of projects I had done...really for myself to feel like I had accomplished something.  This blog is still in the process of evolving, but has now also become a place to share my projects, ideas, and tutorials as well as link the great ideas and projects of others.  For a while, I didn't feel "creative" anymore.  I wanted to do something or make something but I had no ideas.  Now, I keep coming across so many great ideas in blogland that I can't keep up and I love to post them here as a way to save and share!
I'm not the most organized person, "organized choas" seems to be a better description.  I make lists, but then I rebel against them because I have such an urge for spontaneity.  However, I do think having To-Do lists helps me get more done.  I hate doing the laundry, I don't enjoy cooking but love baking.  Most of the projects I do are not that time consuming as I like instant gratification.  I like to just sit down and be able to complete a project, so many of the projects I post are things that can be done during naptime or after the kids are in bed.  Stuff a busy mom can squeeze in!

I plan to write mostly about projects and other creative endeavors, but other things that are a part of my life or catch my interest will make their way on here such FAMILY, parenting and motherhood, random fun stuff, and well...I'm sure it will end up resembling some sort of organized chaos.  I tried to make it arts and crafts only in the beginning but whatever! Now it's a little of everything :)

My husband and I started dating during our junior year of High School!  I thought he was great back then, but he's even better now!  I'm so very thankful for him :)

Motherhood....all the sudden you learn what it's like to have your heart walking around outside your body!  It's amazing and scary!  Who knew you could love anybody so intensely!

We also homeschool!  Now that has become my main focus and arts and crafts has taken the back seat.  BUT I love teaching my kids art and watching their creativity emerge!
